Mehndi

1:00 PM

Brides across India are decorated with intricate mehndi designs, also known as henna, across their hands and feet. Grooms traditionally get mehndi on their hands as well. The modern mehndi ceremony is relaxed and social, with guests of all gender identities invited to get a small design of their own — it's a wonderful way to carry a piece of the wedding home with you. Mehndi is safe for the skin and fades within 5 to 7 days.
